1 Day: Diani/Mombasa – Shimba Hills National Reserve – Return
Depart early in the morning from your coastal hotel and drive to Shimba Hills National Reserve, enjoying scenic views of local villages and rolling hills along the way.
Upon arrival, begin your game drive in search of the rare sable antelope—one of the only places in Kenya where they can be found. You may also spot elephants, giraffes, buffalo, warthogs, and a variety of monkeys and bird species.
Continue with a guided walk to the beautiful Sheldrick Falls, where you can swim in the natural plunge pool or stand under the refreshing waterfall.
After the walk, proceed to Shimba Hills Lodge, an award-winning tree lodge set within the rainforest, offering spectacular views over a waterhole frequently visited by wildlife. Enjoy a relaxing lunch in this unique setting.
In the afternoon, enjoy a final game drive as you exit the reserve.
Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.
