1 Day: Mombasa – Tsavo East National Park – Mombasa
Depart from your hotel early in the morning at around 5:00 am and drive along the Mombasa–Nairobi highway to Tsavo East National Park, entering through Bachuma Gate.
Begin your game drive immediately upon entry, exploring the park’s vast plains in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and a variety of antelope species. Tsavo East is renowned for its large herds of red elephants, colored by the park’s rich red soil.
Visit the famous Aruba Dam, a hotspot for wildlife and water birds, offering excellent viewing and photography opportunities.
Proceed to Voi Safari Lodge, perched on a hillside with stunning views of the savannah and a nearby waterhole. Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch while watching animals come to drink.
